The Bloomer Blackhawks (23-3) softball team advanced to the WIAA D3 Sectional finals with a win over Northwestern, 4–0, on Tuesday, May 31 in Bloomer. However, #2 Baldwin-Woodville defeated the #1 Blackhawks on Thursday, June 2 in the sectional final game in Cumberland.

The Bloomer Blackhawks opened up scoring in the second inning, when junior Karley Rada tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.
In the top of the second inning, the first batter, junior Mckenna Hilger, hit a pop fly and reached on an error by the catcher. The next two batters up, junior Laikyn Maidment and sophomore Tyra Zwiefelhofer walked to load the bases. The next two batters struck out brining up Rada with two outs and the bases loaded. She tripled on a line drive to right field, driving in three runs. The inning ended with the Blackhawks ahead 3–0.
Bloomer held Baldwin-Woodville scoreless through the second inning but in the third they pulled away for good with four runs.
After the second inning Bloomer could not get the bats fired up with only one batter making it to base only once in the last five innings when junior RyAnna Keller walked.
Olson took the loss for Bloomer. She allowed four hits and six runs over six innings, striking out nine.
Rada led Bloomer with one hit in three at bats.

Olson threw a shutout to lead the Bloomer Blackhawks past the Northwestern Tigers 4-0 on Tuesday.
Bloomer got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run for the Blackhawks.
Bloomer added another three runs in the second inning. The offensive firepower by the Blackhawks was led by Rada and Olson, who both drove in runs.
Olson led the Bloomer Blackhawks to victory in the circle. She allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one.
Junior Tori Jenneman, Hilger, Rada, Rubenzer, and Olson each collected one hit to lead the team. Bloomer didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jenneman had the most chances in the field with 11.
