Robert Samuel Buchli, 92 of Rice Lake, WI passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Heritage Lakeside in Rice Lake with his family by his side.
He was born on February 11, 1927 in Bloomer, Wis., the son of the late Harvey and Elsie (Siewert) Buchli.
Robert was proud to serve in the US army during WWll. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening and dancing. He was a legendary lefsa maker and loved playing the concertina at nursing homes, he especially loved to play at the Ceska Opera House. His family was very important to him, he loved family reunions and spending time with all his family.
Robert is survived by his children, Donna (Andy) Bronstad, David (Joyce) Buchli, Mark (Tina) Buchli; Step-children, Cathy (Rollie)Veitch, Jack (Janis) Lapcinski, Jim ( Marie) Lapcinski, Tom (Deb) Lapcinski, Joe (Claudia) Lapcinski, Mary (Bill) Schnacky; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 12 step-grandchildren; 20 step- great grandchildren; 5 step- great great grandchildren; a brother Art (Joan) Buchli; a sister Jeanette (Morris) Riley;sisters in-law, Charlotte and Norma Buchli.
He was preceded in death by his wife Irene ( Reinolt), his second wife Patricia (Lapcinski), His brothers Marvin, Vernon and Rollie Buchli.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church of Rice Lake, WI. 510 S. Wisconsin Ave. Rice Lake, Wis. with pastor Chris Sesvold officiating.
Friends may visit from 10 am until the time of service at church on the day.
Interment will follow at Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake with honors.
