Bryce Shipman passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Grand Island, New York. He was born at Ellsworth AFB on June 2, 1960 to Marian and Clyde Shipman. He graduated from New Auburn High School in 1978. He worked at Mason Shoe and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1985. He was a dental lab tech. His claim to fame was doing dental lab work for General Storming Norman Schwarzkopf when he retired. He was deployed to Iraq where he was very badly hurt, and he retired after 22 years with 100 percent disability.

He had four children, Jacob, Josh, Emily, and Julia. He really loved his kids. Bryce loved to hunt and fish, and he was a great banjo picker. Before Bryce enlisted he was the youth leader at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer, Wis. He did a great job with the kids. He was a great father and son and he will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer, Wis.
