Well wishers are posting messages on the Facebook page of Barron native Chris Kroeze after he announced he has auditioned for the NBC television network show, “The Voice.”
Kroeze posted on the page that he had auditioned for the show, which launches its 2018-19 season on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 24 and 25.
A singer, songwriter and Nashville recording artist, Kroeze was the opening act last June, when country western giant Travis Tritt performed at the Rice Lake Aquafest stage.
Kroeze has also toured internationally, entertaining troops overseas with the coordination of a production company owned by fellow Barron area native Zach Schauf.
According to his Facebook page, Kroeze performs at more than 200 engagements per year – the latest of which was a Saturday night concert on Sept. 1, 2018, at the Ridgeland Fair.
