Each spring the Bloomer Woman's Club offers a $300 scholarship for Women Returning to School (WRS) and $300 for a student to attend camp for Leadership or the Arts. Part of the criteria is for the winners to present at a club meeting the following spring. Presenting is WRS winner, Talia Espinosa. She took an online class to learn Beginning Airbrush Techniques and Care. Here she is showing a paper mache' pinata's she has made for family and others. The airbrush techniques have helped her greatly in layering and blending colors. She showed a variety of pieces in size and vibrant layers of color. Talia was very happy for the opportunity to be able to take the class, improve on her skills and share with the women what she had learned. Talia is shown above with Scholarship Chairman Maryann Gumness.

Above, Tatum Jeffery, sophomore at Bloomer High School, received the student scholarship to take an online Drawing Class from Green Bay last summer. She is shown here with her high school art teacher Mrs. Gumness who holds the sketch pad so Tatum can show the learning progression of her full body proportion drawing techniques. Tatum said she learned a lot to improve her drawing skills and made friends even though the camp was online. She too thanked the club for the scholarship and class opportunity.
