On Friday, May22, 2020, the Bloomer school district celebrated the senior class of 2020 on what would have been its graduation night if it weren't for the restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic. At 8:20 p.m. (20:20 military time), the school district lit up the football field and put 20 minutes and 20 seconds on the scoreboard and set the teams to BHS and SENIOR and the scores to 20-20. The stadium lights stayed on for 20 minutes and 20 seconds and all over town residents turned on porch lights at 8:20 p.m. and gave a shout out to the Class of  2020. After the lights went out, fireworks were shot off from the softball field complex.

On Friday night, May 22, which should have been graduation night for the Bloomer High School class of 2020, at 8:20 p.m. (20:20 military time) the scoreboard at the Bloomer High School Football field was set to 20 minutes and 20 seconds and the lights were turned on to celebrate the graduates. After the lights were turned off fireworks were shot off from the softball field complex.

BHS Celebrates Class of 2020 With Fireworks

On Friday, May 22, in honor and recognition of Bloomer’s graduating class of 2020, the school district celebrated the class of 2020 with a brief fireworks display from the area of the softball complex. This was after they lit up the football stadium for BHS seniors. The lights came on at 8:20 p.m. (20:20 military time). The scoreboard recognized Bloomer Seniors 20-20 and the clock counted down from 20 minutes and 20 seconds. When the clock reached zero, and the lights were shut off, the fireworks began.
