First Snow.jpg

Bloomer residents were greeted to snow covering the ground when they woke on Friday, Nov. 12. It was the first snow of the season with just over 1/4 inch. Most of the snow was melted by noon as afternoon temperatures reached upper 30’s however more snow fell Saturday night into Sunday morning which stuck around longer. With the first measurable snowfalls, the Bloomer Police Department reminds residents that winter parking regulations will now be enforced. No parking on any city street from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Permission can be obtained to park on the street by presenting to the Police Dept. on a daily basis and registering one’s vehicle in the Winter Parking Log found on the PD lobby counter.  This must be done daily and in person.  If book is not on lobby counter, a predicted snowfall is upcoming and no permission is granted for that night.
