The Bloomer High School Art Club has decorated the planter at the corner of 16th Avenue and Main Street for Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately on Friday, Feb. 5, Snoopy was broken off at the legs by the strong winds. Monday, Feb. 8, BHS art teacher Maryann Gumness said she was working to repair Snoopy and get him returned to the planter very soon.

The Bloomer High School Art Club would like to thank all who voted for its Main St. Porch Pot design of the 2020 Stink - Stank - Stunk Grinch. The art club won first place. “We are using the Chamber money to buy supplies to make new designs for each season and donuts of course,” said Sariah Teubert and Grace Anderson, co-presidents of BHS Art Club and advisor Maryann Gumness. “We hope you enjoy our current design for Valentine’s Day with Snoopy!” Pictured above are, left to right, Russell Culver, Zander Burt and Erik Thomas, who worked on the Valentine’s design.
