Bloomer High School Volleyball Team Wins Fifth Consecutive Conference Title

The Bloomer Blackhawks varsity volleyball team won its tenth Heart O’ North conference title and its fifth consecutive conference title on Thursday, Oct. 17 when it beat Northwestern and finished the regular season with an 8–0 conference record and a 28–7 overall record. HON conference newcomers Cameron Comets finished second in the conference with a 6–2 record. The #2 seed Blackhawks receive a bye in the first round of WIAA D2 regional play and will host either #7 Rice Lake or #10 Baldwin-Woodville on Thursday, Oct. 24.
