Valley Art Gallery and gifts is having a Grand Reopening on Saturday, November 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will showcase the newly remodeled building and local artists’ works. The building was originally built in 1920. Building owner, Steve Rasmus, was able to restore the high ceiling, terrazzo floor and added almost floor to ceiling windows and lighting to accent the gallery.

The gallery opened originally in 2015 and currently has 13 artists representing acrylic, oil and water color paintings, photography, gourd art, pottery, jewelry, batik, folk art, fiber art, stained glass, fused glass and blown glass. They are proud to provide affordable art in the Chippewa Falls downtown.

At the Grand Reopening you can visit with the artists, enjoy a treat, sign up for classes and enter a raffle drawing. Classes are being offered in calligraphy, essential oils, stained glass, water color and gourd weaving. Children’s classes are also being planned.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 2nd at 4 p.m. The Gallery is located at 304 North Bridge Street, across from Mason Shoe.
